Youth Hodags Compete at Merrill Sunday
Thirty-three wrestlers competed at Merrill on Sunday. Placing first were Jacob DeMeyer, Cole Price, Alex Huff, Gavin Ostermann, Cole Lehman, Ashton Voermans and Walker Hartman. Placing second were Owen Dahl, Tyler Olson (Kindergartner), Aiden Ward, Kayia Shrader, Joe Lieder, Josh Randolph, Connor Lund, and Tyler Olson (6th grader). Placing third were Maxwell Ratty, Aiden Osterman, Reagan Hartman, Derrick Dumprope, Dante Suhm, Cael Steinmetz, Jaden Schoeneck, Dresden Klaver, Jaxen Schoeneck, Jesse Mahner, and Tye Ernst. Finish fourth were Jacob Wagler, Austin Randolph, Alec Modrow, Brock Lieder, Draven Klaver, Gerry DuBois and placing 5th was Payton Hartman.CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE HODAGS
Wrestling Pictures are scheduled for this Thursday. Please make sure your child wears their Wrestling T-shirt for the team picture.
Our tournament is less than two weeks away. We need ALL parents help to make our tournament a success. I have e-mailed a list of food that is needed and work slots that need to be filled. Thanks to those of you who have responded. If I do not hear from you by Thursday, I will assign a work slot for you.
Please turn in all money collected for the 50/50 raffle as soon as possible. You have until the tournament to sell tickets, however, if you took more than 5 books and are finding it difficult to sell, please turn them back in to me so we can get them out to someone who is needing more. Remember you are expected to sell a minimum of 5 books this year.
Watch your e-mail as I will be sending information regarding the tournament throughout the next week.
If you take your child to a tournament please remember to let the coach know his/her results before leaving for the day or you can e-mail your results to Tracy Hartman at gth@newnorth.net. If we do not have your child’s results we can’t include the results in the newsletter.
